How to get there

Participants are encouraged to use public transportation to go to the "Oude Vismijn". From the railway station Ghent Sint-Pieters, it only takes 15 minutes to get to the conference venue.

BY TRAIN

  • take the train to "Ghent Sint-Pieters station". Trams are leaving in front of the railway station, at the left side of the building. From there, you can take tram 1 or 4; go off at stop “Gravensteen”.


BY BUS

  • from Ghent Sint-Pieters station: take line 3, 17, 18, 38 or 39 (stop “Korenmarkt”). Busses are leaving in front of the railway station.

BY CAR

  • P-route underground parking lots: P1 Vrijdagmarkt (€10/24h), P7 Sint-Michiels (€10/24h), and P8 Ramen (€11/24h).

As you drive into the city, you will see information about parking options early on. Large overview signs will guide you to the R40 ring road, where you can find your way by following the dedicated parking signs. These will show you the direction and occupancy rate of the various underground parking lots. From any one of those lots, simply follow the touristic signs pointing towards the Gravensteen.

For those who have booked a room at Hotel Gravensteen, 15 parking lots are available in the hotel. It is however not possible to book one in advance.
