To conclude the conference in style, the organisers invite all participants to attend the Symposium Banquet which will take place at Safran Zunft.

Safran Zunft is the historical house of the spice trader guild. The respectable Safran Zunft was first documented in the 14th century. In 1423 the Saffron Guild bought the "Ballhof" building located in the Gerbergasse. They erected a new building in the 17th century. Around 1900, when the Gerbergasse was widened, the guild house had to be pulled down and built again. It was considered as important to preserve the nature of the ancient guild house. The two architects, Basel born Rudolf Linder and the Dutch Gustav Adolf Visscher van Gaasbeck, designed the new guild house, which was inaugurated on January 20, 1902.

Fee: The participation in the Banquet is optional and subject to prior booking. A contribution of 75,00€ is asked for participation of SPICA delegates. Non-registered persons will be required a fee of 150,00€. Please note that the ticket distributed with the registration documents will be required to get access to the venue of the banquet.
Cancellations and refund of booked tickets for the Banquet are not possible during the symposium.
