Every two years, the EuChemS Female Organic Chemist of the Year Award acknowledges the excellent research work carried out by a female scientist working in the field of organic chemistry in Europe.

Professor Véronique Gouverneur (University of Oxford) is the recipient of the EuChemS Female Organic Chemist of the Year 2022 Award for her ongoing contributions in developing novel synthetic methodologies for the preparation of fluorinated targets.
