Darmstadt is science, living and culture!

Beautiful art nouveau architecture and excellent museums are the biggest draws of this strollable city 35km south of Frankfurt, easily reachable by frequent S-Bahn trains.

Set around the monumental Luisenplatz, the city centre has retained some of the fine buildings inherited from its enlightened grand-dukes and princes and houses an avant-garde National Theatre which continues its intellectual and cultural influence.

Public ornate parks and the Botanical Gardens  of the Technical University of Darmstadt, lure nature lovers in the summer as in the winter into the outdoors.
