Access by Car

Darmstadtium has direct access to the A5 and A67 motorways. Take the exit Darmstadt/Stadtmitte and follow the signs to Darmstadtium. Please note that Darmstadt has an environmental zone and all EU car-owners must have a green badge in order to enter the city. More information is available here. Darmstadtium has an underground parking for visitors (view map). Maximum fee is 15€ incl. VAT/ day until 23:59.

Access by Public Transportation

Darmstadt’s central railway station (Hauptbahnhof) can be reached with regional services as well as IC/ICE. We advise you to take the tram going to the Darmstadt city and step out at “Schloss” stop. Find out more here.

Access by Plane

Frankfurt International Airport can be reached by car in 20 minutes and by rail or bus shuttle in about 30 minutes. Every half an hour, the “Airliner” shuttle service brings passengers from Frankfurt Airport (terminals 1 and 2) directly to Darmstadt "Kongresszentrum" (other stations: central railway station and Luisenplatz Darmstadt).

Public transportation
