Since the Tour de France will be organising a time-trial in Nice on Tuesday, July 2 - which makes it difficult to find accommodation for the night of July 2 - the RICT 2013 organisers decided to adapt the schedule of the symposium. The scientific programme will start on Wednesday around 11:00 (and not at 08:00, as for previous RICT's), and will end on Friday evening, instead of at lunch time.
Please book your travel and accommodation accordingly.
There are several options to travel to Nice:
The national railway system provides rapid and express trains (TGV, corail) connecting the French Riviera with all parts of France and all major cities in Europe. The TGV Méditerranée high-speed train links Paris & Nice in 5hrs 30 min.

Nice is connected to all the great European cities by a major motorway network. In particular, the A8 motorway, 'La Provençale', running from Aix-en-Provence to the West to the Italian border on the East.
