The organising and scientific committee of the ECHC 2008 cordially invite you to attend the 23^rd edition of this biannual meeting on heterocyclic chemistry. The colloquium finds its routes in the French speaking area of Belgium almost 35 years ago (Mons, 1974). It started as an annual meeting in French speaking areas and later on extended to a real European meeting organised every two years. It now returns to Belgium but this time to the Flemish speaking area in the North of the country. The city of Antwerp, often referred to as a ‘pocketsize metropolis’, is a perfect spot to combine a high level scientific meeting with history, culture, architecture and gastronomy. The city can be easily reached by air, bus, train and motorway.
